James knows both modern road safety principles and the city of Mountain View. He always comes to the committee meetings prepared, and advocates for what he believes in.

I had the pleasure of serving with James on the Mountain View Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, where his dedication to safe streets and active transportation was evident in everything he did. James brings the same passion to housing: fighting for the homes our community needs and ensuring that our most vulnerable neighbors have a real path to stability. Mountain View will be well served by James Kuszmaul on City Council.

When there are important issues in our community, he's willing to step up and lead.

Ever since James joined Mountain View YIMBY a few years back, he has been an invaluable leader for the organization: making sure we show up for local housing issues, do endorsements in local races, and even get together for fun happy hours from time to time. James is a hardcore believer in democracy. He runs the marathon of hard and slow change towards the futuristic vision of Mountain View and our country: one in which people lead healthier less car reliant lives without risking their lives on dangerous roads, in dense mixed use neighborhoods. I share James' vision for our city and trust that he will work tirelessly to bring it about.
